Description landlord

The landlady made a goodwill impression. But after moving in, hell began. Everyone has to dance to their tune, criticism won't be accepted, comes into the apartment building almost every day and then lets out their frustration.
Residential building, rooms and roommates are okay, but because of the landlord you can never find peace there. She also invents her own laws, which one initially believes and accepts, but later realizes that this is not allowed at all.
Plain and simple willful fraud - which always gets away (maybe because of her Dr. title)
No wonder that 90% of the residents are foreign residents who have no idea about the laws.

Description landlord

Landlord seems friendly at the beginning but it's quite clear that there is only one way to do things--hers.
Main reasons to avoid this landlord:
- no keys to lock one's room
- too many people for only one kitchen which is definitely too small for 8-9 people
- obsessive landlord who would micromanage everything, continuous emails, WhatsApp messages, etc
- deposit not returned on moot points
- mainly non-German tenants—coincidence?

Price and location informations

Area is good, on a main Street so a bit noisy at times. Price is high for the number of people living in the same house and sharing a kitchen.

Description landlord

I moved here for my Master's program at TUM from the US and I found this place through WG Gesucht. Through online communication, Caroline was very kind and welcoming. However, once I arrived a the house I realized that I had made a mistake moving in here. The Landlord lives 2 blocks away from the house and is always dropping by. She believes that her standard of living needs to be adhered by every single tenant. Therefore she is constantly nagging to tenants what needs to be cleaned (including private spaces) and what can go where. Also, good luck getting your deposit. Examples:

1.She hired workers to put tiles on the patio, remove all the weeds, and plant grass in the backyard. The cost of this work was charged to all the tenants via the deposits (about 250 Euros each). Her argument was that we were supposed to tend to the garden, even though the garden was dirt and weeds for 10/11 months that I lived there. Aka there was never any gardening to be done.

2. One time the basement stone floor got dirty from regular use. Since I was living in the basement room, she asked if I could clean it as it was a very "expensive" stone. She bought a stone cleaner (could've cost 5 euros tops) and gave me a bucket and a mop to clean. I ended up doing so and got an email from her thanking me for how well it had turned out. Little did I know that she ended up charging all of the 7 roommates for that cleaning service (about 25 euros/person) and of course I did not get paid (nor did I want to).

She will take any and all opportunities to drain you from your deposit. STAY AWAY
